A lot of people struggle when it comes to reading the Old Testament because it contains so much history. History changes and can be confusing, but it all points to the same consistent God.

God's mercy never ends! It never has, and it never will. God is faithful! He always has been, and He always will be.

It is SO AWESOME to look at how God shows up in the Old Covenant and how He shows up in the New Covenant. Our God is forever incredible, and we can praise Him with the same words written thousands of years ago:

"I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning." — Lamentations 3:21–23
